Forming part of the World War 1 commemoration events leading up to the Centenary of the Herefordshire Regiment landing at Suvla Bay, Gallipolli on 8th August 1915, this mural was commissioned by the WW1 Centenary Committee and designed and painted on the hoardings in High Town, Hereford by MW Murals
The mural also shows a list of names of the Soldiers of the Herefordshire Regiment who died in action at Suvla Bay.
For services to the WW1 Commemoration events, Max was invited to tea at Buckingham Palace.
